YU-GI-OH! OFFICIAL CARD GAME DUEL MONSTERS - BOOSTER PACK BEYOND THE BRAVE (BOX)

Japanese Version

A basic pack featuring multiple themes and notable cards is now available, allowing you to build a new themed deck using only the cards in this product. Some cards even have "Overframe" versions! Also, keep an eye out for cards linked to the promotional short anime series "Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME THE CHRONICLES" and cards that strengthen past popular themes. The "+1 Expansion Pack" included as a box purchase bonus in the first production run will contain cards that are compatible with the included themes and versatile cards that can be used in various decks, all with higher rarity and newly drawn illustrations!
New cards reminiscent of Jounouchi's cards play a central role. New theme available!

This deck excels at battles that involve a mix of luck and fun, utilizing new support cards linked by the effects of "Time Magician," and high-level monsters deployed using those cards as its main force.

The key Quick-Play Spell Card, "Time Magician," supports the development of the deck with its effect of adding related cards from the deck to the hand and its effect of retrieving "Time Magician" from the graveyard during the end phase. Its other effect is also powerful; by guessing heads or tails on a coin, it can wipe out the opponent's monsters and deal massive damage to the opponent. If you miss, all of your own monsters are destroyed, but you can recover as it fulfills the conditions for summoning a new ace monster.

The new ace monster is the Fusion Monster "Red-Eyes Transcendent Black Dragon" ! If a monster is destroyed by the effect of "Time Magician" during the turn, you can Special Summon it from your Extra Deck by Tributing one face-up monster on either your or your opponent's field, and it has a powerful effect that allows you to Special Summon any Level 8 or lower monster from your hand or graveyard when it enters the battlefield. Furthermore, it reigns supreme with an effect that makes it unaffected by the effects of spells and monsters activated by your opponent! The combo with "Jinzo - Psycho Energy Shocker," which seals traps, is incredibly powerful!

Also, pay attention to the two Trap Cards!! "Foolish Grave Robber" not only allows you to develop your field, but also has the effect of setting Spell/Trap Cards from the Graveyard. It's worth noting that when setting from your opponent's Graveyard, you can set any Spell/Trap Card you like. And the Continuous Trap "Great Comeback Box" allows you to summon allies from your deck and neutralize your opponent's monsters by guessing heads or tails on a coin! As long as you have counters, you can activate it any number of times, and it can truly create a great comeback!!

Enjoy the battle by utilizing cards that support your strategy, such as "Panther Warrior" and "Wyvern Knight," as well as cards that handle disruption and defense, such as "Fisherman," "Angel and Devil Dice," and "Scapegoat," and even add a gambling element with coins and dice!

The tactics of the "D-HERO" controlled by Ed, who appears in the anime "GX",The game will be strengthened with the introduction of new cards.

A new ace monster has arrived: the Level 8 Fusion Monster "D-HERO Dreadnought Guy". It can be Special Summoned from the Extra Deck by Tributing one "Dreadnought Guy", and its effect allows you to add two related cards from your Deck to your hand when it enters the field, leading to further plays. Also, its own ATK becomes the sum of the original ATK of allies on the field and in the Graveyard!

Also, pay attention to the Field Spell that supports the deployment of your ace monster! In addition to effects that add related cards from your deck to your hand and power up your allies, when it is destroyed, it is treated as the effect of "The Clock Tower of the Underworld" and you can summon an ally from your deck. If you summon "Dreadguy", not only will you revive two allies with its effect, but you can also release itself to special summon your ace monster.

Use "Death Dogma Guy," which has the effect of dealing 2000 damage and performing a Fusion Summon; "Devil Lord Guy," which supports deployment through both its effect and cost; and "Dreadnought Servant," which can Special Summon itself while also aiming to obtain "Fusion" from the deck, and also has an effect that can break through the opponent's formation, to create a powerful formation and launch an attack!

    Second Chance Romance
    Format: Kindle
Minor spoilers in this one, but I feel like they aren’t really spoilers.. it’s a second chance romance soo, but wanted to give the opportunity for some to not read the review if minor spoilers are an issue! Thank you to Erica Goodwin for the ARC! This is my first physical ARC and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to read Take Two before its release! I love reading about women in entertainment, so I was really excited to read this. I will say that it is usually a hit or miss for me when reading a second chance romance. Most of the time, I feel like the couple broke up for a reason. I was very interested in what happened between Gemma and Caitlin when they broke up. This leads me to Caitlin.I liked her in the beginning. But I’m not going to lie, the more I learned about her and how she treated Gemma (yes, they were in high school, but still), it made it really hard for me to like her. I understand being terrified of discovering feelings for a girl, especially at the age of 15/16ish. So while I hate what happened, it makes sense. But it’s a different story when you are in college and doing the same thing that you ALREADY DID TO YOUR GIRLFRIEND!! I adored Gemma, so I believe that made my dislike of Caitlin more. I don’t think she is a bad person, but I just wish she would be more mindful of how her actions affect others. This is lack of mindfulness is shown with the Michelle situation as well. Gemma is an angel. I loved that she was unapologetically an out lesbian in high school. It was refreshing to see that she didn’t care about what others thought and didn’t shy away from showing affection to her girlfriend. I loved the friendships in this book as well. Maddie did make Caitlin a little more bearable by calling her out on her crap. That’s a real friend right there. Someone who doesn’t just placate their friends is friend everyone needs. Hayley and Gemma’s friendship was adorable as well. I definitely resonated with Hayley and her protectiveness of Gemma. It’s hard to see your friend so heartbroken and I understand her wanting to make sure her best friend isn’t hurt like that again. I would love to read a romance that featured Hayley or Maddie. The besties deserve their own romance novel. I did start to like Caitlin towards the end, but I did wish that we saw more of them together as adults, especially before what happened in the last couple of chapters. I felt like it was too soon to take that step without actually seeing if Caitlin’s actions would match her words this time. I need to see her evolve more. As I stated earlier, the writing is amazing, that’s not in question. I just had a hard time liking Caitlin. I’d give the book 3.75- 4 stars, I can’t decide, so I will round it up to 4 stars. Take Two is a real, raw and messy second chance romance. I can’t wait to read more in the NYC series (I think I know who the next couple will be) and also read the author’s other standalone book!

    Loved this book
    Format: Kindle
This book is so full of love, passion and anguish. The MC are so well developed that you feel what they are going through every step of the way. You get so invested in wanting them to have a happy ending but it doesn't appear it will happen. I highly recommend this book.

    beautiful sapphic second chance
    Format: Kindle
I could not put this book down, I devoured it in one day! A heartfelt sapphic romance that pulled you in from the start. Gemma and Caitlin’s dual POVs and dual timelines was done effortlessly. Seeing the struggles of a high school romance was so relatable. Then flash forward to the present when they were forced into each other’s lives after nine years because they were cast in the same movie! The cross between past, present, and the movie being filmed was full of angst, longing, regret, and hit me on every emotional level. I could not recommend this book more!

    Missed the Mark *Spoilers*
    Format: Kindle
I was surprised by the author’s bio because at times it felt like this book was written by an adolescent imagining what filming a movie would be like. I really enjoyed certain parts of the book, especially the flashbacks to HS, the flirtatious note-writing and the botched Spanish terms of endearment. But the main feeling I had reading it was whiplash, in terms of all the back-and-forth between the MCs. Even at almost 30 years old, they both felt emotionally immature. **Spoilers Ahead** It was odd to me that when they finally confronted their past, it was in terms of the summer after their sophomore year of HS, rather than the big breakup when they were in college. Skipping ahead, the Paris ending felt very abrupt and out of character. I also felt that certain side characters (Troy, Darbie, Emily, etc.) were very two-dimensional and discarded easily where it would’ve been interesting to see their reactions to the MCs’ relationship. I can see where the author laid the groundwork for a good series, it definitely has potential. This book just missed the mark for me.
